Jennifer Taub
for TOWN COUNCILOR
REPRESENTING DISTRICT 4
Striking A Balance

My Priorities for Council Action
- Sustainable Balance. Promote a healthy, sustainable balance between our year-round and student residents to reverse the trend of a declining non-student population.
- Infrastructure. Increase funding for the maintenance and repair of our roads and sidewalks.
- Climate Action. Insist Town budgeting and procurement be integrated with environmental goals — the foundation of climate action.
- Social Justice. Ensure that all voices are heard and have a seat at the table while policies are being formulated.

- Inclusive Government. Deliver responsive, inclusive, and accessible government that respects and incorporates residents' concerns and participation.
- Constituent Services. I will continue providing timely responses to residents' concerns and District 4 issues.
- Prioritize Residents. Align the Council’s agenda with the issues that residents care most about.
- Affordable, attainable housing. My ultimate goal is to keep Amherst a place where people want to live and can afford to. As we build a new elementary school and expand our library, we need to grow our community, especially families with young children for whom we are building these new facilities.
